Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated on Tuesday that Moscow is not seeking peace in Ukraine, but is instead preparing for fresh military assaults. His remarks come ahead of an anticipated meeting between the Russian and United States leaders.
“We see that the Russian army is not preparing to end the war. On the contrary, they are making movements that indicate preparations for new offensive operations,”
Zelensky wrote in a statement shared on social media.
According to the Ukrainian leader, recent Russian troop movements, logistical activity, and strategic deployments signal not de-escalation, but rather readiness for renewed aggression on multiple fronts.
