The results of the 47th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Preliminary Examination have been officially announced. A total of 10,644 candidates have successfully passed the initial stage.
The Public Service Commission (PSC) released the results on Sunday night, 28 September.
The preliminary test of the 47th BCS was conducted on 19 September simultaneously in eight divisional cities, including Dhaka. The exam was held in 256 educational institutions across the country.
This year, a staggering 374,747 jobseekers applied to participate in the examination.
