The inflow of remittances has shown a year-on-year growth of 24.3%, amounting to USD 2,031 million in the first 21 days of September 2025, according to the latest data released today by the Bangladesh Bank (BB).
In comparison, during the same period last year, remittance inflows stood at USD 1,634 million, highlighting a significant upward trend in foreign earnings.
From the beginning of July until 21 September 2025, Bangladeshi expatriates remitted a total of USD 6,930 million, surpassing the USD 5,772 million received during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
