18.4% Growth in Remittance Inflow up to 22 September

Bangladesh has recorded a significant rise in remittance inflows, with the country witnessing an 18.4% year-on-year growth in the first 22 days of September 2025, according to the latest data released today by Bangladesh Bank (BB).

During this period, remittances reached USD 2,095 million, compared to USD 1,769 million in the corresponding period last year.

From July to 22 September 2025, expatriates sent USD 6,995 million in remittances. This reflects a considerable increase compared to USD 5,906 million during the same timeframe in the previous fiscal year.
