Ranbir Kapoor on Ageing Gracefully: “My Grey Beard is Growing”

Bollywood’s influential and immensely popular actor, Ranbir Kapoor, celebrated his 43rd birthday on Sunday. Since his debut in the industry, Kapoor, a scion of the renowned Kapoor family, has captivated countless hearts, and even after all these years, his charm remains undiminished. However, he candidly acknowledged the inevitability of ageing.

In a video shared on social media to mark his birthday, Ranbir openly admitted that his beard has started to grey and the number of white strands is steadily increasing.

At one time, Ranbir’s love life was a constant topic of discussion and speculation in Bollywood. Rumours about his relationships with successive leading actresses made headlines almost daily. Those days, however, are long behind him. Today, he is settled and devoted to family life.

Following his marriage to actress Alia Bhatt, the couple has become parents to a daughter, Rahe, and their domestic life appears joyful and serene.

According to Indian media reports, he spent the day privately with his wife Alia and daughter Rahe, enjoying a quiet family vacation. Nevertheless, he ensured his fans were not left disappointed. From the holiday location itself, Ranbir recorded a heartfelt video message for his followers, captured by Alia Bhatt.

In the video, he remarked:“The number of grey hairs in my beard is steadily increasing. I feel no sorrow about that. I simply want to express my gratitude to my audience. Receiving so many birthday wishes since morning has truly overwhelmed me.”
