GST admission examinations for the 2025–26 academic year are scheduled to commence on 27 March 2025, beginning with the ‘C’ Unit test. The remaining two units will hold their respective examinations at one-week intervals thereafter.
The decision was finalised on Thursday (23 October) during a meeting held at the University Grants Commission (UGC) conference room in Agargaon, Dhaka.
According to the meeting’s resolution, GST admission tests will take place on 27 March, 3 April, and 10 April 2025.
- The ‘C’ Unit examination will be held on 27 March.
- The ‘B’ Unit examination will follow on 3 April.
- The ‘A’ Unit examination will be conducted on 10 April.
However, the date for the commencement of the application process will be determined in the next meeting.
At the meeting, Professor Dr Tanzim Uddin Khan, UGC Member responsible for public universities, delivered the welcome address. Dr Md Fakhrul Islam, UGC Secretary, and vice-chancellors of the cluster-affiliated universities were also present.
