The recheck results of this year’s HSC and equivalent examinations may be published on November 16. On Saturday (October 25), officials of the Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education confirmed this information to the media.
The officials stated that, according to regulations, results must be published within 30 days of submitting a recheck application. Accordingly, November 16 has been set as the probable date for the result announcement.
Earlier, the application process for result recheck or script challenge was open from October 17 to October 23. The notice from the Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education mentioned that this year applications were accepted only online. In previous years, applications could also be submitted via SMS, but that was not available this time. Moreover, no applications were accepted directly at any education board, Ministry of Education office, or any other office.
It is noteworthy that the results of the 2025 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations were published on October 16. This year, the pass rate across 11 education boards was 58.83 percent, and 69,097 students achieved GPA-5.
Compared to the previous year’s pass rate of 77.78 percent, this year’s pass rate has decreased by 18.44 percent. Additionally, the number of students achieving GPA-5 decreased by 76,814.
This year’s HSC and equivalent examinations were held from June 26 to August 19, with practical exams conducted from August 21 to August 31. A total of 1,251,111 students participated under the 11 education boards.
