Senior Secretary of the Election Commission (EC), Akhtar Ahmed, has announced that there are now 42,761 polling centres across the country.
On Monday (27 October), at the Election Commission Secretariat, Akhtar Ahmed unveiled the final list of polling centres.
He stated that there are a total of 244,649 polling booths nationwide. Of these, 115,137 booths are designated for male voters, while 129,602 booths are for female voters.
The EC Secretary also mentioned that registration for new political parties and domestic observer organisations is expected to be completed within this week.
