The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast that the sky over Dhaka and its surrounding areas may remain partly cloudy today, while daytime temperatures are expected to remain unchanged.
The forecast, issued at 7 a.m. on Tuesday (November 4) for the next six hours, stated that the weather will remain mostly dry. It also mentioned that winds may blow from the south or southeast at a speed of 8 to 12 kilometers per hour.
At 6 a.m., the temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 24 degrees Celsius with a relative humidity of 84 percent. Yesterday, the maximum temperature in the capital was 31.3 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, the latest 120-hour national forecast indicates that light to moderate rain or thundershowers may occur in many areas of Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions, as well as in some parts of the Dhaka division. Elsewhere in the country, the weather is expected to remain mainly dry with partly cloudy skies. Night and day temperatures across the country may increase slightly.
