Today’s Schedule: Where Activities Are Happening in Dhaka

In Dhaka and across the country, various government departments, organizations, political parties, and groups hold daily programs. These events often cause roadblocks, creating difficulties for commuters. It is therefore important to know the day’s schedule before heading out.

Notable programs on Wednesday (5 November) include:

BNP

At 10:00 am, a discussion meeting by the Workers’ Wing will be held at the Institution of Diploma Engineers in Kakrail on the occasion of National Revolution and Solidarity Day. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will be the chief guest.

At 2:00 pm, a public rally will be held for BNP nominee Sanjida Islam Tuli in Dhaka-14. The rally will start from Mazar Road, pass Shah Ali Mazar, the west side of Sony Cinema Hall, Chidiyakhana Road, in front of Commerce College, take a right turn, and end in front of National Bangla High School.

Gonosanhati Andolon

To mark a decade of its political presence, the party will hold a press conference at its central office in Hatirpul to introduce the new committee and reveal a list of potential candidates.

NCP

At 10:00 am, NCP convener Nahid Islam will meet the family of Shahid Gazi Salauddin, who was killed during the July uprising, at Godnail Bazar in Siddhirganj, Narayanganj.

Safe Road Movement (NISA)

At 10:00 am, a press conference will be held at Bangladesh Crime Reporters Association in Segunbagicha demanding the removal of Awami League mafia member Enayetullah from the transport sector.

Andolon Bastobayon Committee

At 12:00 pm, an urgent press conference will take place in front of the Press Club as part of a sit-in program.
