Woman’s Body Found in a Field in Kaliganj

Police have recovered the body of an unidentified 50-year-old woman from a field in Boropukuria village, Kaliganj upazila, Jhinaidah. The body was found on Saturday (October 8) at around 8:30 am.

Shafiqul Islam, the officer-in-charge (OC) of Kaliganj Police Station, told the media that locals informed the police about the incident. The police then recovered the body and sent it to the district headquarters hospital morgue for autopsy.

He added that efforts are underway to identify the woman and determine the cause of her death.
