EC meeting on Sunday to discuss NID and voter list

A crucial meeting of the committee on National Identity Card (NID), voter list, and the application of information technology in election management will be held tomorrow, Sunday. The meeting will take place at 3:00 pm in the conference room of the Election Building.

The meeting will be chaired by the committee chairman, Election Commissioner Brigadier General Abul Fazal Md. Sanaullah (Retd.).

This information was revealed in a notice signed by NID Director (Operations) Md. Saiful Islam.

The meeting will discuss the process of NID correction applications, the responsibilities in handling them, and the revision of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) regarding duty assignment. In addition, voter registration and NID preparation, voter registration for Bangladeshi citizens living in the country and abroad, and other related matters will also be discussed.
