Unidentified miscreants hurled a cocktail in front of the gate of Ispahani Girls’ School and College in the capital’s Hatirjheel area. The incident occurred shortly before 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
According to a message from Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), the explosion took place around 7:50 a.m. No casualties or injuries were reported.
DMP stated that a cocktail was thrown from the flyover in front of the Ispahani Girls’ School and College gate, which subsequently exploded. The overall situation remains normal.
Earlier on Monday, several areas in the capital also witnessed cocktail explosions and incidents of arson attacks on buses.
