Three motorcyclists killed in separate road accidents in Magura

Three motorcyclists have died in separate road accidents in Magura. The deceased are Mehedi Hasan Sagor (32) from Lohagara, Narail, Tamim (18) from Bunagati, Shalikha, Magura, and Shanto Mondal (19) from Noropoti village.

On Thursday night, Mehedi Hasan Sagor was seriously injured in a head-on collision between two motorcycles in front of the Dhoail Fire Service Office on the Magura–Mohammadpur road. He was taken to Mohammadpur Upazila Health Complex, where emergency doctors declared him dead. Sagor’s home is in Lohagara, Narail district; his father is Monirul Islam. He was residing in a village in Mohammadpur through marriage.

Earlier on Thursday afternoon, Tamim lost control of his motorcycle near Chandpur on the Gabtola road from Berail Polita in Magura Sadar and crashed into a tree, dying on the spot.

Tamim was the son of Kamruzzaman of Bunagati village, and Shanto Mondal was the son of Probhat Mondal of Noropoti village. Both were HSC students at Bunagati Degree College.

Shanto Mondal, who was seriously injured, initially received local treatment and was later taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he died.

Locals and relatives stated that the motorcycles crashed into trees due to loss of control, causing the vehicles to be completely mangled.
