Young Man Killed in Stabbing by Miscreants in Pabna

A young man named Jibon Hossain (22) was killed in Pabna after being stabbed by miscreants. The incident occurred at around 11:30 pm on Friday (21 November) near the Rajapur Calico Cotton Mill in the Sadar Upazila. Jibon was the son of Md Sujon Hossain of Rajapur village in Dogachi Union of the same upazila.

According to police and local sources, miscreants attacked Jibon after finding him alone near the cotton mill on Friday night. They stabbed him and left him critically injured. Locals later rescued him and attempted to take him to hospital.

Abdus Salam, Officer-in-Charge of Pabna Sadar Police Station, said that the police visited the scene after receiving information. The body was recovered and sent to the morgue of Pabna General Hospital for post-mortem.

He further stated that the exact motive behind the killing is still unknown. However, preliminary suspicion suggests that he may have been murdered due to previous enmity. Efforts are underway to identify and arrest those involved in the incident.
