Four Members of the Same Family Killed in Dinajpur Road Accident

A collision between a bus and an autorickshaw in Nashipur, Sadar Upazila of Dinajpur, has resulted in four deaths. At least three others were seriously injured, including a five-year-old child, and were rushed to hospital. The accident occurred around midday on Saturday (22 November) in the Nashipur area.

Initial reports state that on the Dinajpur-Rangpur highway in Nashipur, a bus ran over an autorickshaw. Three people died at the scene.

Later, when the injured were taken to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital, doctors declared another person dead. The five-year-old child remains in serious condition at the hospital.

Nuruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Dinajpur Kotwali Police Station, confirmed the incident. Among the deceased, one has been identified as Shimu Akter (38), a resident of Upashahar, Block 8, Dinajpur town.
