Sheryl Crow Joins Forces with Music Legends for ‘If It Makes You Happy’ Singalong

Sheryl Crow delighted fans at a recent concert in Brooklyn by revisiting one of her biggest ’90s hits, “If It Makes You Happy,” with a little help from some iconic music stars.

On Saturday, November 22, Crow performed at the ACLU Creatives For Freedom concert at the Brooklyn Steel venue, where she was joined by a stellar lineup of artists, including Maggie Rogers, St. Vincent, Taylor Meier (of CAAMP), Mon Rovîa, Joy Oladokun, and comedian Ilana Glazer. The group came together for a joyous, impromptu singalong of Crow’s 1996 classic, which was the lead single from her self-titled album.

In a heartwarming video shared online, Crow led the verses of the song, while the other artists, along with the audience, joined in for a rousing chorus. The atmosphere was electric, with the performers linking arms and swaying together as the crowd sang along. Fans were quick to praise the collaboration, with one commenter calling it “an iconic song with iconic performers.” Others shared their excitement, describing the performance as “magical” and “healing,” emphasising the sense of togetherness and joy that filled the venue.

The “If It Makes You Happy” singalong has since become a highlight of the night, with fans and artists alike celebrating the power of music to bring people together. It was a truly unforgettable moment for all in attendance.
