The ICC has released the complete fixtures for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, confirming Bangladesh’s place in Group C alongside England, the West Indies, Nepal and newcomers Italy. The tournament, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, will take place from early February to early March next year.
Group A pairs India and Pakistan, as widely expected, with the United States, Namibia and the Netherlands completing the group. Group B comprises Australia, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Ireland and Oman, while Group D includes South Africa, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Canada and the United Arab Emirates.
Bangladesh’s campaign begins on 7 February in Kolkata against the West Indies—an opponent with a formidable reputation in the T20 format. Their second match, on 9 February, pits them against Italy, followed by a high-profile encounter against England on 14 February, both at the same venue. The Tigers will then travel to Mumbai for their final group match against Nepal on 17 February.
The tournament format dictates that only the top two teams from each group qualify for the Super Eight stage. Each Super Eight side will play three matches before the top four progress to the semi-finals. The semi-finals are set for 4 and 5 March, with the final to be played on 8 March. A unique feature of this edition is the conditional final venue: Colombo will host if Pakistan reach the final, while Ahmedabad will stage the match otherwise.
Bangladesh’s group-stage fixtures are as follows:
