In the last 24 hours, two more people have died from dengue fever across the country, while a further 610 patients have been admitted to hospitals with the infection.
The Health Emergency Operation Centre and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services released the information on Monday (1 December) in its regular dengue bulletin.
According to the directorate, of those admitted in the past 24 hours, 52 were from Barishal Division, 122 from Chattogram Division, 81 from Dhaka Division, 171 from Dhaka North City Corporation, 102 from Dhaka South City Corporation, 31 from Khulna Division, 26 from Mymensingh Division, 17 from Rajshahi Division, two from Rangpur Division and six from Sylhet Division.
