According to the election schedule, polling is set for 20 January. Meanwhile, the distribution of nomination papers began on Tuesday morning at 10 a.m., and one candidate had already collected papers by noon, Nazrul Islam reported.

The Election Commission has also released a checklist of documents required to submit a nomination.
