Lusaint has deep roots in Manchester’s music scene. Born and raised in Stretford, she has always drawn inspiration from the city’s voices and musical energy. Raised on jazz and blues, Lusaint performed Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone in local bars, gaining experience and recognition. In 2019, her cover of ‘Don’t Let Go’ became the UK’s most Shazamed track in a single day, marking her breakout moment.
Since then, she has charted her own path in music. Lusaint plans to release a new EP, ‘Apothecary Pt. 2’, on April 17, 2025, alongside a full UK tour.
She stated, “Manchester’s music has always been a part of my life. Joy Division’s songs speak my emotions in the most eloquent way.”
