Pop singer Sabrina Carpenter has sharply criticised the White House for using her music in a social media video promoting ICE raids. The video showed ICE officers aggressively detaining individuals and putting them in handcuffs.
Carpenter’s hit song ‘Juno’ from her latest album Short And Sweet was used as the backing track. Carpenter tweeted on X, “This video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda.”
This is not an isolated case. Multiple artists have accused the White House and Donald Trump of using their music without permission.
| Artist | Song | Allegation |
|---|---|---|
| Sabrina Carpenter | Juno | Unauthorized use in ICE video |
| Kenny Loggins | Danger Zone | Used in Trump-supporting video without consent |
| Olivia Rodrigo | All-American Bitch | Used in video encouraging self-deportation of undocumented immigrants |
