Camp Kuleshov, commonly known as Camp K, hosts a trailer competition for emerging creative artists in post-production. The recent announcement revealed the Grand Prize winners across Editing, Graphics, Sound Design, and Music Score.
Lev winners are selected from the first-place winners in each region. The award is named after the renowned Russian filmmaker and editor Lev Kuleshov, the pioneer of the Kuleshov effect. The competition aims to enhance emerging talent’s creative and problem-solving skills while offering invaluable mentorship opportunities. Participants are tasked with reimagining existing films into new and inventive trailers.
Lev trophies were presented at the 2025 AICP Awards in Chicago, alongside the 2024 winners. Going forward, the Lev honour will be awarded immediately after the Camp K Regional competitions and formally presented in Chicago.
