Megan Moroney Returns on a Massive Scale with Cloud 9 Tour

Megan Moroney’s concerts are about to become much, much bigger in scope. On Thursday, the country queen announced the dates for her upcoming ‘The Cloud 9 Tour’, a celebration of her forthcoming third album, which will see her performing at major arenas across North America. Moroney will kick off the run in Columbus on 29 May, before stopping by cities such as Chicago, Atlanta, Toronto, Boston, Orlando, Portland, Los Angeles, and Dallas. She is scheduled to conclude the U.S. shows at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on 21 August. Following this, the singer will head to Europe and the United Kingdom for shows in September, culminating in a final European show on 1 October in Belfast.

Tickets for the Cloud 9 tour are set to go on sale at 10:00 am local time on 12 December. Fans can also sign up for presale access to tickets starting 11 December at 10:00 am local time. Moroney captioned her announcement with the enthusiastic declaration: “THE CLOUD 9 TOUR IS COMING SOON TO AN ARENA NEAR YOU!!!!!” Last month, Moroney announced that her third album, Cloud 9, will drop on 20 February and will feature her singles “6 Months Later” and “Beautiful Things”. Just as with her previous records, Lucky and Am I Okay?, Kristian Bush served as the lead producer on this project.

“Similar to the first two albums, it’s all written about honest, personal experiences, but these songs were written by the strongest, most confident version of myself I’ve ever been,” Moroney said in a statement regarding the album. “My feet feel firmly planted in my artistry, and it was fun to play around sonically, while still sticking to my roots of what my fans and I love. Cloud 9 is a state of mind, and I have no doubt this will be the best chapter yet.”
