Dr Md Shadi-Uz-Zaman, Managing Director of Notundhora Group, has been conferred the prestigious “Global NRB Award 2025” in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the real estate and community development sectors in Bangladesh. The honour was presented by Dr Ahsan H. Mansur, Governor of Bangladesh Bank, during the main ceremony of the NRB Global Convention 2025, held at the Grand Ballroom of Sheraton Dhaka Hotel.
The NRB Global Convention is widely regarded as one of the largest international forums for expatriate Bangladeshis, drawing participants from over 25 countries. Attendees include entrepreneurs, doctors, engineers, scientific researchers, academics, and IT professionals, reflecting the diverse talents and global achievements of the Bangladeshi diaspora.
The event was inaugurated by the Prime Minister’s Special Advisor (External Relations), Md Touhid Hossain, who highlighted the vital role of expatriate Bangladeshis in global trade, cultural exchange, and technological advancement. He emphasised the importance of strengthening close international cooperation between local and diaspora professionals, underlining its potential to accelerate national development.
