Titas Gas has announced that gas supply will be temporarily suspended in several areas of Narayanganj today, Wednesday, 21 January, due to urgent maintenance work on the city’s gas network.
According to an official notice, the disruption is necessary to carry out essential repairs and pipeline replacements linked to the road expansion and two-lane road construction project stretching up to Panchabati-Moktarpur Bridge. Damaged pipelines near Panchabati Mor and in front of the main CNG stations will be repaired as part of this work.
The maintenance operation is scheduled from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, lasting a total of five hours. During this period, gas supply will be interrupted for all types of customers in Narayanganj city, Munshiganj city, Panchabati, Moktarpur, Siddhirganj, Mouchak, Delpara, Pagla, Fatullah, and surrounding areas. The Adamjee EPZ area will not be affected by the outage.
The utility company expressed sincere apologies for the temporary inconvenience and urged residents to take precautionary measures during the shutdown. Titas Gas emphasised that these repairs are critical for ensuring long-term safety and reliability of the gas supply network.
