South Korean K-pop sensation Blackpink has brought their ‘Deadline’ World Tour to Japan, performing three electrifying shows at the iconic Tokyo Dome between 16 and 18 January. According to YG Entertainment, the total audience for these performances reached an impressive 165,000 fans, reflecting the group’s enduring global popularity.
The concerts opened with fan favourites “Kill This Love” and “Pink Venom”, immediately engaging the audience. Members Rosé, Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo encouraged fans to sing along, creating an electric atmosphere. The performances combined precise choreography with high-energy vocals, drawing roaring applause throughout the arena.
Following the opening numbers, Blackpink delivered a series of hits, including “Whistle,” “Boombayah,” and “Jump”, keeping the momentum alive. Fans enthusiastically joined in, waving light sticks in perfect synchrony with the beats. The shows concluded with an emotional moment, as Rosé, Jennie, and Lisa expressed heartfelt gratitude to their audience:
“Time has flown by so quickly, and it’s hard to believe the tour is already here. Over these three days, we’ve received incredible support from all of you. We want to send our love and thanks to each and every one of you.”
After their Tokyo Dome performances, Blackpink will continue the tour in Hong Kong, performing at the Kai Tak Sports Park from 24 to 26 January, where the ‘Deadline’ Tour will come to a close.

After more than three years, Blackpink is set to return with new music. Their third EP, ‘Deadline’, is scheduled for release on 27 February 2026. The album will feature the 2025 hit “Jump”, which topped the Billboard Global 200 chart and became widely popular through word of mouth.
Previously, the group released their second full-length album ‘Born Pink’ in September 2022. Their most recent EP, ‘Kill This Love’, debuted in April 2019, cementing Blackpink’s status as one of the leading K-pop acts worldwide.
The ‘Deadline’ World Tour not only marks a musical comeback for the group but also offers fans a vibrant live experience, combining Blackpink’s signature hits with dynamic stage performances that continue to enthral audiences across Asia and beyond.
