Mohammad Alwar Uddin Haji Abu Syed, a Bangladeshi expatriate residing in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, has realised the fruits of six years of perseverance by winning a staggering 1 million dirhams (approximately BDT 3.4 crore) in the weekly draw of the popular ‘Big Ticket Abu Dhabi’ lottery.
Alwar Uddin, who has been living in Al Ain for 21 years, had been participating in the lottery for the past six years alongside a group of nine friends.
