The department’s bulletin, covering the period from 7:00am for the subsequent six hours, indicates that the sky over Dhaka will remain mostly clear, allowing for extended hours of sunlight. Daytime temperatures are forecast to rise slightly compared with the previous day, while there is no likelihood of rainfall or thunderstorms during this period. Winds are expected to blow from the north to north-westerly direction at speeds ranging between 6 and 10 kilometres per hour, contributing to relatively comfortable outdoor conditions despite the increasing warmth.

Meteorological data recorded at 6:00am show that Dhaka experienced a maximum temperature of 33.0°C and a minimum of 18.2°C. For comparison, on Wednesday the city recorded a maximum temperature of 31.6°C and a minimum of 17.9°C, indicating a slight upward trend in daytime heat.

In its broader national forecast, the Meteorological Department has indicated that no significant changes in weather patterns are expected across the country in the coming hours. Nonetheless, light mist may form nationwide from midnight until early morning. In areas where fog becomes denser, there is a possibility of temporary disruptions to domestic air travel, inland river transport and road communications.

Authorities have advised transport operators to exercise caution during early morning operations, particularly on highways and waterways prone to reduced visibility. Overall, however, the first day of Ramadan is set to begin under calm and seasonally typical late-winter conditions, offering clear skies and moderate warmth for the capital and much of the country.
