A school ranked top nationwide for junior scholarships

In a remarkable display of academic excellence, the Ideal Residential Model School in Chirirbandar, Dinajpur, has secured the top position nationwide in the recent Junior Scholarship Examination. The institution has set a rare precedent by achieving a 100% scholarship success rate among its participants.

All 84 students who sat for the examination from the school were awarded scholarships, a feat that highlights the school’s dedication to fostering talent and academic diligence. Of these, 68 students earned the prestigious Talent Pool scholarships, while 16 students secured general scholarships. The successful candidates include 55 boys and 29 girls, underscoring the balanced participation and achievement across genders.

Notably, this is also reported to be the highest number of Talent Pool scholarships ever awarded to students from a single institution in the country.

Mohammad Rezaul Karim Chowdhury, Deputy Controller of Examinations at the Dinajpur Education Board, commented on the achievement:
“This is the finest success we have witnessed under the Dinajpur Education Board. Even when compared to other boards, such a combination of 100% scholarship success and a record number of Talent Pool awards from one institution remains unprecedented.”

The school’s Director, Alhaj Principal Mohammad Mominul Islam Momin, attributed the success to the collaborative efforts of teachers, students, and parents:
“This extraordinary accomplishment is the outcome of unwavering dedication and hard work from our teachers, the perseverance of our students, and the consistent support of parents. We aim to continue this streak of excellence in the years to come.”
