Constant Releases Eid Single ‘Sky of Wishes’

The popular Bangladeshi rock band Constant has unveiled a new single titled “Sky of Wishes” ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, delivering a message of love, hope, and heartfelt emotion to their listeners. The song has been released under the banner of G-Series, one of the country’s leading audio-visual production houses, and is already resonating strongly with audiences both locally and internationally.

“Sky of Wishes” is available on G-Series’ official YouTube channel as well as on multiple digital audio streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and other international services, enabling fans around the world to enjoy the band’s latest creation.

Ahmad Mostafa Akik, the band’s bassist and co-ordinator, explained the inspiration behind the song: “Eid is a time of joy, reunion, and special emotions. We wanted to gift our listeners a song that touches the deepest corners of the heart. Every individual has a sky of wishes within them—dreams, unspoken thoughts, and longings that float freely. This song is born from that very feeling.”

According to the band, “Sky of Wishes” is an emotional reflection on dreams, love, and unfulfilled desires. Its lyrics evoke the sensation of reaching for hidden wishes, sometimes in reality, sometimes in the imaginative expanse of the mind. Since its formation in 2005, Constant has established a distinctive presence in Bangladesh’s rock music scene. Their 2014 single “Dream Parade”, dedicated to the national cricket team, significantly boosted their popularity. Other notable releases, such as “Meghbalika”, “Khoma”, “Sadakalo”, “Asthir Onubhuti”, and “Shadhinota”, have also earned widespread acclaim.

The current line-up of Constant comprises Jibon on lead guitar, Rabbi on drums and vocals, Imon as lead singer, and Akik on bass. “Sky of Wishes” adds another emotional milestone to the band’s journey, reaffirming their reputation for combining rock instrumentation with heartfelt lyricism.
