Hezbollah Drone Strikes Target Israeli Bases

The Lebanese armed group Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for a series of drone attacks on Israeli military installations, describing the operation as a direct response to what it termed Israel’s recent acts of aggression. In a statement, Hezbollah detailed that a squadron of drones was deployed to Haifa naval base at approximately 2:00 p.m. local time. Simultaneously, the Tel Hashomer facility, known as the headquarters of Israel’s General Staff, was also targeted. Multiple drones were reportedly employed to strike both sites, highlighting the group’s growing aerial capabilities.

Hezbollah further indicated that the attacks were launched from southern Lebanese cities, including suburbs south of Beirut.
