Karnaphuli Insurance PLC has once again demonstrated its regional leadership by winning the ICC Sixth Emerging Asia Insurance Awards 2025 in the Best Re-Insurance Category. The prestigious award was presented at a gala ceremony held at the Rembrandt Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, where the company’s Chief Executive Officer, A. N. M. Fazlul Karim Munshi, received the honour on behalf of the organisation.
The Emerging Asia Insurance Awards recognise outstanding performance, innovation, and operational excellence in the insurance sector across South and Southeast Asia. In 2025, awards were distributed across 13 categories, covering top performers from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar. The Bangladesh Insurance Association participated as an associate partner, reflecting Bangladesh’s growing influence in the regional insurance landscape.
Karnaphuli Insurance’s recognition in the Best Re-Insurance Category was attributed to its innovative risk transfer strategies, sound re-insurance practices, and sustained industry growth. The award underscores the company’s consistent commitment to strengthening the insurance sector in Bangladesh while achieving international recognition.
