Eyewitnesses and police sources described a chaotic scene in which the factions clashed with sticks and makeshift weapons, pursuing one another through the streets in a series of confrontations. The skirmish left at least five people injured, including ASI Aziz, a sub-inspector of police, who was hospitalised at the Gurudaspur Upazila Health Complex. The other injured individuals sought medical care at various local facilities.

Gurudaspur Police Station’s Officer-in-Charge, Shafiquzzaman Sarker, confirmed that police intervened promptly to restore order, but ASI Aziz sustained injuries during the attempt to control the situation. The officer was treated and admitted to hospital for further care.
