Jagannath University (JUB) celebrated Eid al-Fitr on Saturday with its central congregation led by the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Raees Uddin. The Eid prayer took place at 8:30 am in the university’s central mosque, drawing a large gathering of worshippers from across the campus community.
Faculty members, administrative officials, student leaders from various organisations, and general students participated in the main Eid congregation, reflecting the inclusive nature of the celebration. The morning atmosphere was marked by devotion and communal harmony, as attendees joined in the collective prayers marking the end of Ramadan.

Professor Dr. Raees Uddin, in his capacity as Imam for the congregation, concluded the ceremony by exchanging Eid greetings with all attendees, sharing in the festive spirit and encouraging unity and mutual goodwill.
