A tragic accident in Shahjadpur, Dhaka, claimed the life of a young woman on the morning of Monday, 23 March 2026, as she fell from the rooftop while trying to rescue her pet cat. OC Abdul Salam of Baraigram Police Station confirmed that following the completion of legal procedures, Banya’s body will be returned to her family. She is to be buried in the local Christian cemetery in her native village, adhering to her family’s faith and traditions.
