The injured passenger, Fatema Begum (60), is currently undergoing treatment in critical condition. Their exact relationship has not yet been officially confirmed by authorities.
According to eyewitness accounts and police reports, Anisur Rahman was travelling by motorcycle with the woman pillion passenger when they were struck from behind by a Dhaka-bound intercity bus. Witnesses stated that the bus was moving at a high speed and failed to maintain safe distance before colliding with the motorcycle, causing both riders to be thrown onto the roadway.

Fatema Begum sustained serious trauma and was first taken to Mithapukur Upazila Health Complex before being transferred to Rangpur Medical College Hospital as her condition deteriorated.
