Three Dead As Bus Rams Auto In Sirajganj

A devastating road traffic accident involving a speeding passenger coach and a compressed natural gas (CNG) powered auto-rickshaw has claimed the lives of three individuals, including the driver of the three-wheeled vehicle. The identified individuals include Sorman Hossain, aged 35, who was operating the commercial auto-rickshaw and hailed from the local Solanga vicinity. The second identified casualty was Gobinda Sutradhar, aged 40, a carpenter by profession residing in the nearby Angaru village within the same region. The administrative authorities stated that the formal identity of the third passenger could not be immediately determined at the scene of the crash.

As the auto-rickshaw traveled along the designated lane of the highway, a fast-moving passenger bus approaching rapidly from the rear violently struck the smaller vehicle. The sheer physical momentum of the impact caused the auto-rickshaw operator to completely lose mechanical control. The vehicle overturned repeatedly on the tarmac of the highway, causing catastrophic structural damage to the passenger cabin and inflicting critical, life-threatening internal and external injuries upon the driver and both commuters on board.
