Swaron purchased the rare mammalian specimen for a verified commercial sum of 330,000 Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) from the Rabeya Agro Farm, a commercial livestock breeding facility situated in the Paikpara locality of Narayanganj city.

Prior to its physical relocation, the animal had been systematically reared and managed at the Narayanganj agricultural facility. The unique name “Donald Trump” was originally bestowed upon the albino buffalo by the younger brother of Ziauddin Mridha, the proprietor of Rabeya Agro Farm, who chose the name as a humorous reference to the animal’s distinct light-coloured, yellowish-white coat. Following its prolonged stay at the Narayanganj farm, the buyer, Fariduzzaman Swaron, arranged for the domestic transport of the buffalo via a commercial truck on 25 May 2026, moving it directly to his residential compound in Rasulpur, Jinjira.

Ministerial Intervention and Protective Police Custody

The decision to transition the livestock from private residential ownership into formal police custody followed direct high-level government intervention. At approximately 3:00 pm, a police escort extracted the albino buffalo from Swaron’s residence in Rasulpur and transferred it to the secure confines of the Keraniganj Model Police Station.
