DHAKA, 8 June 2025 (BSS) – Bangladesh has reported three new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 2,051,742, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
During this period, six patients recovered, raising the overall number of recoveries to 2,019,363. Notably, no new deaths from COVID-19 were reported, keeping the official death toll unchanged at 29,500.
However, the daily test positivity rate was notably high at 75%, as only four samples were tested during the reporting period.
