Condolences Pour in from Sports Fraternities Following Tragic Aircraft Crash

Following the devastating crash of a Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) training aircraft into a building of Milestone School and College in Uttara, condolences have continued to pour in from various sports associations and individuals across the country. The tragic incident has resulted in the loss of 31 lives, including 25 children, a pilot, and a teacher, while leaving over 165 injured.

Details of the Tragedy

On Monday afternoon (21st July 2025), a Bangladesh Air Force FT-7 BGI fighter aircraft crashed into the Milestone School and College building in Uttara, Dhaka. The aircraft, which was undergoing a training exercise, tragically fell into the school compound, resulting in the death of 31 individuals, including 25 children and a teacher. The pilot of the jet also perished in the crash.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR), as of 12 pm on Tuesday, the death toll stood at 31, while 165 people were reported injured. The injured victims have been admitted to 10 hospitals across Dhaka, where they are receiving medical treatment.
