Sonali Life Partners With Evercare Hospital to Expand Health Services

Sonali Life Insurance PLC has formalised a strategic alliance with STS Holdings Limited, the parent entity operating Evercare Hospital Dhaka, to broaden the healthcare options available to its clientele. The signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishes a cooperative framework intended to deliver priority medical care to Sonali Life’s policyholders, staff members, and authorised beneficiaries.

The agreement comes at a time when the insurance and healthcare sectors in Bangladesh are seeking closer integration to improve service delivery and public trust. For insurance firms, offering direct access to premier hospital networks represents an effective way to enhance customer retention while providing practical utility alongside conventional financial risk coverage. By teaming up with one of the country’s leading private healthcare providers, Sonali Life aims to streamline the path from medical diagnosis to treatment for its member base.

The framework laid out in the MoU guarantees eligible individuals access to a wide spectrum of medical services at Evercare Hospital Dhaka. The facilities covered include both inpatient and outpatient care, specialist clinical consultations, advanced diagnostic procedures, and comprehensive laboratory testing. Beneficiaries will also benefit from structured hospital admission coordination, round-the-clock emergency support, 24-hour ambulance dispatches, pharmacy facilities, and specialized home healthcare services.

To ensure a smooth patient intake process, the hospital is establishing a dedicated corporate support desk. This unit will handle administrative logistics, facilitate treatment coordination, and offer priority booking for specialist consultations, thereby minimizing waiting times and procedural delays for Sonali Life policyholders.

Speaking at the signing ceremony held at Sonali Life’s headquarters, Acting Chief Executive Officer Md Rafiqul Islam highlighted the strategic intent behind the move: “By facilitating access to quality healthcare, we aim to provide meaningful support when our policyholders need it most.”

Company Director Fauzia Qamrun Tania reinforced this perspective, noting that true customer protection extends beyond standard financial policies to include active well-being support. Director Sheikh Mohammad Danial further remarked that an accessible, coordinated healthcare infrastructure is a core requirement of any modern corporate service model.

The MoU was formally executed by Md Rafiqul Islam on behalf of Sonali Life, and A M Abul Kashem, General Manager and Head of Corporate Marketing at Evercare Hospital Dhaka, representing STS Holdings Limited. Senior representatives from both organisations attended the event, expressing confidence that the venture will set a positive precedent for integrated corporate healthcare solutions in the region.
