A tragic incident occurred early this morning in Mozakanda area of Palashkandi village, under Nakla Upazila in Sherpur district, where a young man lost his life due to a lightning strike.

According to Habibur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Nakla Police Station, the lightning strike occurred at around 7:00 am while Sujan was working in the agricultural field near his home. The lightning, accompanied by a rainstorm, struck him directly, causing instant death.
Authorities have confirmed the incident and extended their condolences to the grieving family.
