A tragic road accident claimed the life of a motorcycle rider this afternoon in the Laxmirampur area of Bhaline Union, under Manda Upazila in Naogaon district.
The deceased was identified as Nayeem Sheikh, aged 27, son of Seherdi Sheikh of Dharmahata area, under Paba Police Station in Rajshahi.

According to Munsur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Manda Police Station, the accident occurred when a battery-powered auto-rickshaw collided head-on with Nayeem’s motorcycle. The impact left Nayeem critically injured.
Bystanders immediately rushed him to Mahadevpur Upazila Health Complex, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
Local authorities are expected to investigate the cause of the collision further.
