France to Conduct Aid Air-Drops Over Gaza: Diplomatic Source

France is preparing to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza via air-drops in the coming days, according to a diplomatic source on Tuesday. The announcement comes amid heightened concerns from UN-backed experts that the Israeli-blockaded Palestinian enclave is on the brink of famine.

“France will carry out air drops in the coming days to meet the most essential and urgent needs of the civilian population in Gaza,” said the diplomatic source.

The official also called on Israel to take immediate steps to open land crossings into Gaza to allow more comprehensive and sustained humanitarian access.

This move aligns with growing international pressure to expand aid delivery routes into the war-torn territory, where millions face worsening food insecurity, limited access to clean water, and collapsing medical services.
