Gaza Health Ministry Reports Over 60,000 Killed Since Outbreak of War

The Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that the death toll from the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict has exceeded 60,000 fatalities, nearly 22 months since the war began.

According to the ministry’s official statement:

“The death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 60,034 martyrs, with 145,870 injured, since 7 October 2023.”

The figures highlight the intensifying humanitarian crisis in Gaza as hostilities persist, with widespread devastation, mass displacement, and critical shortages of medical supplies, food, and shelter.

This data, published amid mounting international concern, reinforces urgent calls for a ceasefire and expanded humanitarian access to assist the millions affected by the prolonged conflict.
