The inflow of remittances to Bangladesh has recorded a significant year-on-year growth of 32 percent in the first 30 days of July, reaching a total of US$2,368 million, according to the latest figures released by Bangladesh Bank today.

This marks a substantial increase from the US$1,794 million received during the same period last year.

Furthermore, the country has received a record-breaking amount of US$30.33 billion in remittances during the fiscal year 2024–25 (FY25) — the highest remittance inflow in Bangladesh’s history.

This record represents a 26.80% growth compared to the US$23.91 billion received in the previous fiscal year (FY24).
