A major lawsuit has been filed against Flight Expert, one of Bangladesh’s leading online flight booking platforms, for allegedly embezzling crores of taka from customers. The case was lodged at Motijheel Police Station in Dhaka on Saturday night (2 August) by Bipul Sarkar, owner of Bipul Sarkar Tours and Travels. Police have since arrested three senior officials of the company.

Additionally, there are allegations that Flight Expert did not procure tickets directly from airlines. Instead, it relied on two intermediary agencies to secure tickets. Now, it is being claimed that these two agencies are initiating refunds on previously purchased tickets, thereby recovering funds while customers remain uncompensated.
