Khandaker Jahangir Kabir Rana, a prominent student leader of Rajshahi University during the 1980s and a former Presidium Member of the Central Jubo League, has passed away. Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un.

The veteran politician died of a heart attack on Saturday, 9 August, at a hospital in Dhaka.

According to family sources, the funeral prayer (Janazah) and burial will be decided after the return of his only son from the United States, scheduled for Tuesday.
