In the past 24 hours, 380 people have been admitted to hospitals due to dengue, with no deaths reported during this period.
The admissions occurred between 8:00 AM on Sunday, 17 August, and 8:00 AM on Monday, 18 August. This year so far, 105 people have died from dengue, and a total of 26,758 patients have been hospitalised due to the disease.
This information was released in a press statement by the Health Emergency Operation Centre and Control Room under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The DGHS has emphasised the continued severity of dengue in Bangladesh and urges the public to take preventive measures to avoid mosquito bites and reduce the risk of infection.
